Outpatient
Treatment for Adolescents with
Alcohol and Drug Problems

Adjustments®
is an outpatient program that is intensive and comprehensive
for teenagers with alcohol and drug problems.
Our
program philosophy is to have all participants achieve
the power to overcome their alcohol or drug problems
through our five steps to successful change.

As
part of our assessment and treatment planning process,
all participants receive psychological testing and feedback
from a Ph.D. psychologist.
We
offer a positive approach to discovery, recovery,
serenity and sobriety. Our goal is to assist participants
in achieving mental, physical, emotional and psychological
balance. Each session is specifically designed to address
the issues that affect all teenagers. Some of these
issues are:

We
provide a safe environment that promotes active and
positive participation. We encourage each person to
honor his or her own unique self.
Our
staff has a combined total
of 40 years of experience in the field of chemical dependency.
Family
It
is essential that parents participate in their child's
treatment program. Parents' involvement will be designated
at different times throughout the treatment process.
Aftercare
After
an individual has successfully completed the treatment
program, we offer one year of aftercare to help support
continued recovery.

Education
Program
Intensive
outpatient treatment is not always required for adolescents
who are in the early stages of substance abuse. Our
weekend education program is designed for those teens
to enhance their knowledge and decision making regarding
substance abuse.
Program
Schedule
Positive
Adjustments Adolescent Program consists of 30 outpatient
group therapy sessions.
Sessions are scheduled 3 days a week -- Monday, Tuesday
and Thursday
